Experts in the field

Courts, Insurances, regulatory agencies, Institutions, companies and especially private citizens are, in our highly technical and specialized world, dependent upon experts in the field. May it be through traffic accidents, construction damages, rent disputes, defective craftsmanship, estate disputes und divorce cases or simply because a purchased item is flawed. When one wants to preserve ones right, one is dependent on an expert in the field.

The term expert in the field is not copyrighted per law. Therefore experts in the field are plentiful. Only the publicly appointed and sworn in experts in the field are allowed to carry "buv" in their name title. An expert in the field will be only publicly appointed and sworn in, if they have previously proven their in depth knowledge of the expert matter and their experience in it and they have shown themselves above reproach. To accomplish this, the applicant must submit previously complied expert opinions and references and must prove the acquired knowledge before an expert committee through an examination.

Publicly appointed experts in the field are charged with supporting the courts, public authorities, and of course companies and private citizens, as problem solvers.

The clients can be confident that the expert opinions or surveys are impartial, independent and in a non-directive manner prepared. The public appointment saves the clients the tedious task to research the professional competence of the expert in the field on their own. The accomplishments of publicly appointed and sworn in experts in the field are highly valued in court and with private clients. Through charging of a publicly appointed experts in the field the chances increase, in comparison to the insertion of any other kind of expert, that the expert opinion or survey will be admitted as bases for the decision making process.

Based on the particular qualities of the appointed expert in the field even the legislator attaches a preferential view towards the public appointment.

Hence there is a series of legislative regulations, in which the publicly appointed and sworn in expert in the field for expert surveys, audits and Inspection assigments, is appropriated for the task.
